RHYTHMICS – Dance for kids

RHYTHMICS 1 (age 3-4)

RHYTHMICS 2 (age 5-6)

RHYTHMICS 4 (age 10-12)

Preschool children and first and second graders.

The emphasis is on development of dance creativity and body culture.

The course is designed as a dance and improvisation game, with the aim to get the participants interested in movement, make them aware of the kinesthetic sense of body position and movement, and to encourage their imagination and creativity by giving them an opportunity to create their own dance sequences.

Zrinka Lukčec Kiko is a freelance dancer. For many years she was a member of Zagreb Dance Company and worked with many Croatian and foreign pedagogues and choreographers (Juan Carlos Garcia, Ksenija Zec, Bebeto Cidra, Katja Šimunić, Silvia Both, Liz King, Snježana Abramović Milković, Kilina Cremona, Irma Omerzo, Martin Sonderkamp, Emilio Gutierrez, Alexis Eupierre, Francesco Scavetta, Natalija Manojlović, Bo Madvig, Ted Stopfer, Laura Aris Alvarez, Renata Carola Gatica, Aleksej Taran…)

She is the winner of the Croatian Association of Drama Artists’ award for the artistic achievement in Something, Maybe Personal (choreographer: Snježana Abramović Milković) and Alike (choreographer: Ksenija Zec).

In 2005, Zrinka founded Plešimedo, the association for movement, contemporary dance and audivisual communication, within which she carries out her own projects ( A Thin Line, Window Cleaners, Giga Barićeva, Ophelia, Sola).
