WHAT IF…?

Go, go, go… : human kind Cannot bear very much reality.”
– T.S. Eliot

We live in very unusual times in which the virtual world is more real to us than the physical one. This dance piece was created along the lines of engaging with motion capture technology for recording human movement. We created digital copies of the real dancers and woke them up in the virtual world. This makes the virtual world on a par with the real one, if not even more attractive.

What are the consequences of involving artificial intelligence and machine learning? We explore the evolution of the relationship between technology, society and interconnectedness, from the positive impacts of technology on humanity, to the negative ones: to the point when artificial intelligence employs this very technology to exploit and eventually enslave humans.

How much has artificial intelligence really advanced in terms of self-sufficiency, we will let it tell us that itself…

“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process they do not become a monster… for when you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.”
– Friedrich Nietzsche
