TRILOGY: PARTE PARTE / PTERO / PART3

The trilogy by creators Petra Chelfi and Petra Valentić is a cross-section of their previous authorial work through which they explore both personal and universal themes. During three encounters, their bodies tell a story of continuous change, embodying fleeting yet profound moments that shape our identities.

PARTE PARTE is a dance duet that observes/explores the space that dissolves and is established between two worlds; the one we experience here and now and the one that shaped us and our bodies beyond our attention and awareness.

PTERO builds on the authors’ first piece and is a continuation of the exploration of perception, dynamics and types of encounters between the two female protagonists who seek encounters of closeness and cooperation, as well as points of distance and misunderstanding.

PART3 is the final piece of the trilogy, in which the authors continue and end the story of their encounters. Faced with the limitations of the flow of time, their last meeting is both nostalgic and full of longing. It is simply the moment to which they surrender as both the past and the future take hold.

The dance trilogy by Petra Chelfi and Petra Valentić starts at 7 p.m. with the piece PARTE PARTE, followed by a short break with drinks and music, and continues at 8 p.m., with the performance of PTERO and PART3.
