TALKING HEAD CASE
Two heads are better than one?
We silence ourselves so that we can hear each other.
Together we are stronger. Together we are smarter.
If we succeed – we share the glory, If we fail – we point the finger.
We share responsibility according to merit. Merit by responsibilities.
We share one brain in our heads.
We silence ourselves so that we can be heard.
A new dance performance in SABMARINE production brings to the surface the deeply buried contradictions that are hidden inside our bodies, asking the question: What is the most ideal mechanism for reconciling our own with other people’s worlds? Moving between orchestrated togetherness and characters of emphasized independence, dancers Endi Schrötter, Lara Frgačić, Silvija Musić and Karlo Topolovec take on the task of facing the
inner world of the characters they created; with feelings of stiffness, restlessness, indecision and intolerance.
Choreographers Endi Schrötter and Lara Frgačić, in collaboration with dramaturge Marija Androić, have created a performance that exudes excellence in dance technique, but does not remain only aesthetically appealing. Jan Kozumplik’s original music undoubtedly contributes to the dynamics of the play by emphasizing the atmosphere of individual situations, with attractive costumes by Paula Zoričić and lighting design by Sara Bundalo.
