RAY MIGRATION

Affirming the transience of sound and movement, Ray Migration deepens our understanding of the lived moment and its unrepeatability.
The dancers examine the concept of creating patterns that linger in space and continue to live in the memory of the observer.
With Ray Migration, we try to imprint a mark in space in the form of rhythmic patterns, both on the micro and macro level, so that we could continue to resonate even after they have happened. If I repeat a word enough times, will you still hear it after I stop? If I repeat a movement enough times, will you be able to see it despite its physical absence? By dissecting and transposing the organic and manipulating it, the piece deepens the motif of sonic-corporeal dialogue in order to understand the extent of attention in relation to the material being presented.
Ray Migration invites attentive listening with our eyes and seeing with our ears, asking what it is that essentially connects us in a shared experience.
