ON(TH(E))LINE

ON(TH(E))LINE explores the concept of the line as a symbol of formation, structure and inevitability of social norms. Through dance, the performance depicts the struggle of an individual in facing their own limitations, inner fears and insecurities, and the path towards liberation and achieving personal meaning. Through different phases of the performance, the dancers face physical and emotional blockages, developing at the same time an awareness of their own limits. Through this introspective transformation, the performance speaks about the process of taking risks, seeking inner freedom and creating connections between people. This dynamic and emotional process leads to the discovery of personal meaning where stepping out of the line becomes an act of liberation and creating new possibilities.
