I SEE, I SEE
I See, I See continues the research started with the dance piece Eye Sea I See, which deals with the ways viewers participate in performance by being manipulated into focusing their attention in desired direction. This second phase of the research focuses on the image, that is, on the possibilites of interpretation offered to the viewers as the dance material evolves and transforms in front of their eyes.
Within the project entitled Male forme (Small Forms), Contemporary Dance Studio welcomes choreographic experiments of its and other dancers. Zagreb Dance Center offers them the conditions necessary for their research, production and post-production support, and thus encourages young, talented artists to make carefully thought-out and better works. Under the mentorship of Studio's artistic director and in cooperation with other members of the ensemble and artistic team, young authors make their small but hight quality dance pieces in a creative atmosphere marked by communication and dialogue.
