June at ZPC is the month of residential premieres and festivals!

The month of June at the Zagreb Dance Center starts off with the premiere performance of choreographer Matea Bilosnić’s dance show Never Allone.   

Never Allone is a choreographic journey in which the author treats dance as her personal time machine, allowing her to reflect on and reshape her past, as well as future – the spaces she visits the most. Spaces in which she lingers the longest. The piece is a co-production between Matea Bilosnić, the Zadar Dance Ensemble (ZdPA), the Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance (HIPP) through the Dance Week Festival (TSP) & the Zagreb Dance Center. 

The project was created with the support of the residential program Mediterranean Dance Center 2024 and ZPC’s partner organisations implementing the residential program: Studio Alta, Prague 2023 and the Machol Shalem Dance House, Jerusalem 2023.

Once again, from 6 to 15 June, the venue of the Zagreb Dance Centre will host the annual program of the Dance Week Festival, organised by the Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance (HIPP). The program is available on HIPP’s website and Dance Week Festival’s Facebook page.

Traditionally, towards the very end of the season, on 18 June, the program features the performance of ZPC’s DANCE CLASS PRODUCTIONS performed by the participants of the dance classes run by dance pedagogues Ida Jolić, Zrinka Lukčec Kiko, Mateja Miković, and Iva Višak.

June concludes with the Perforations Festival 2024 program, organised by the Domino Association, while more information about the program is available on their website.
