BALLET 0
A course for beginners or those with the basic knowledge of ballet technique. We work slowly, because the “safe practice” is more important to me than the ballet vocabulary.
The class includes warming up, floor exercises, barre exercises, centre exercises and near the end of the year, depending on the participants, basic jumps.
Age: 14+, but I’m thrilled that for the last few years some of the participants were brave adults aged 55+.
BALLET 1
A mid-level ballet course (Ballet 1) is meant for those who already have the basic knowledge of ballet class and have mastered the ballet vocabulary. This level is a good balance between the basic course and the advanced course.
The class includes warming up, floor exercises, barre exercises, centre exercises i and basic centre jumps.
Age: from high-school age (upper classes of elementary school are also acceptable) to… Actually, there is no age limit, as long as you are in good health and want to dance.
BALLET 2
The advanced ballet (Ballet 2) requires a good knowledge of ballet technique, because we are doing all barre and centre exercises, allegro and dance sequences. The focus is still on the right way of doing the steps, the right positions and correct posture, but we are also doing some more demanding combinations that further improve your ballet technique and coordination.
The intention is to combine challenge and personal enjoyment while doing the ballet steps and dance combinations.
