M&M: TWIST, TURN, FLIP – MARGARETA FIRINGER AND MARGARETA SINKOVIĆ

Trening

DESCRIPTION /

The two Margaretas will share with the participants the knowledge they acquired at the intensive workshop of David Zambrano’s techniques, Flying Low and Passing Through. The logic of this movement is based on grounding, spiral movement into, and out of the floor, economical movements and alertness, which gradually leads to acceleration and dynamic dancing. Special attention is paid to the relationship with the space and with other bodies in the group: the aim is to create spiral spatial pathways, establish group dynamics, synchronising one’s own dancing rhythm with those of other participants, thus creating a joint group composition. By mastering the set parameters of this movement by learning the basic elements and different improvisational tasks in pairs and in the group, we will explore how to dance for, and with each other. In the words of David Zambrano: “When one is moving, the whole room is moving with one.”
